My Home

My home is like a pack of wolves. It has many features, the mouth, the snout and the paws. But it is not the features that make a wolf a wolf, it's the pack that brings it all together. My family is my pack. My home has many things but those things don’t matter, it's the family and friends. I know if I am ever in need my family would be there in a heartbeat. My home is like a puzzle. There are many pieces to a puzzle, but one piece by itself is valueless. If you put all the pieces together you have a exotic and beautiful representation. Not many people think of a pirate costume when they think of home, but I do. It reminds me that my home is full of surprises and that it is different from the rest. It reminds me that not everybody is lucky enough to have a roof over their head. When you think of a pirate costume you think of swords, ships and cannons. I think of the day my parents surprised me and my sister that we were going on a Disney cruise and there was going to be a pirate theme. I think of the joy and laughter on my sister's face. I think of the smiles and silliness on my parents' faces. This is my story, even so there is much more to come. I hope that one day some others will be lucky enough to have a home they can make memories in. I hope to be a part of that. Not everybody has a roof over their head, but I recognize that I am lucky to have one. I want to do what I can to help others have one too. Thank you
