Meaning of Home

What is a home to you? What does it mean? If you ask me, my home is an amazing sight, it is my family sitting around the table filled with all my sweet grandmother’s delicious recipes that my mom learned when she was a little girl or it’s watching Dr Mike with my brother and knowing what to do in certain situations. My home has a flavorful smell, the smell of fresh grass when my brother and my dad come back from playing their favorite sport, soccer! I love the yummy smell of explosion air freshener. It’s like a fruit refresh, the way it soothes and feeds my nose, ahh I’ll never forget! My home is also a soft, lovely touch. I love the way my mom and dad give me the best hugs every day. It’s also the feeling when I come home from boring old school and pass out on my sofa and relief floods my body. In my opinion that’s one of the best feelings you’ll ever feel. My home is a relaxing sound too! The way I hear the TV playing Arabic channels and podcasts that my parents watch during the day and night. Or I hear cars driving by when we walk to Krispy Kream to get some glazed donuts. Finally, my home is an amazing, yummy taste! Every time my aunty Deborah comes, I always ask if she can make me her famous soft bread. Or when my mom asks what to cook for diner, I always yell “WHITE SAUSE PASTA’’ in excitement, which always works. What is a home to you? A home to me is a safe place where I can express myself and happiness is all around me, I love my home so very much.
