The Meaning of Home

There are lots of meanings of home, one is having fun with kids, friends, family etc. Say for example, you watch your family’s favorite movie. A funny part comes up and you all die laughing. You make popcorn and have a lot more laughter in the next movie, then, you are all crying at the end. That is having fun with family which is only one of the meanings of home. Great food never hurts, right? which is why it’s the next meaning of home. Imagine this, you're extremely hungry and dad cooks up the most delicious spaghetti you’ve ever tasted. It makes you feel like you are actually in Italy eating at the most fancy restaurant, that is great food. Now picture this… you are very bored when your sister finds The Game of Life and you tell your parents to stop what they are doing and play with you. They come and you’ve already set up the game board, you all get very competitive, you show no mercy at your family. Then pizza arrives and then you all find out who the winner is: (the winner is your sister). This last one is loving your family, you don’t need to picture this because I'm sure you love your family. So the meaning of home to me is sharing time, eating , playing all together, and loving your family. P.S. This story is based on Miranda's family: Addison the playful girl, my dad who cooks the best food, my mom that loves to watch movies and Oliver who wrote this story.
