What Home Means to Me

Home means a lot of things to me and they are very important. Home is the place I go to after school. It’s also the place I share memories with my family. I go home when I have a rough day outside, but sometimes I go to my room when I’ve had an argument with my parents. Where do we most feel safe and comfortable? At home. Home isn’t just the place you live , it’s where alongside you, your family and your pets live if you have them. When I come home from anywhere outside home, I always get good vibes and the classic home fragrant you get when you haven’t been home for a while. I don’t know about the people reading this paragraph but it gives me memories from Bangladesh where I went in 2024 and also was born in 2016. At home, I’ve felt feelings that make me comfortable and safe. I have things at home that make me feel cozy and relieve stress from my mind by the second. To me, home is way more than just a place to thrive, it's a place with memories to keep, people to make cozy. In the winter, we hibernate at home sipping hot cocoa while watching the footpath getting covered by a blanket. In home, H stands for happiness , O stands for openness, M stands for Memories and E stands for emotion. Concluding all the things that have been said, home isn’t just a place to live, it’s a place to thrive, a place to remember, a place that stores memories, a place that gives you nostalgia.
