Everyone Needs a Safe and Kind Home!

Everyone Needs a Safe and Kind Home! Home is a shelter where there is safety and independence. Home means kindness, love, and peace to me. It is a place where there is no fighting, only caring for one another. Home is where you belong, where you are missed when you're gone and welcomed when you return. Home is where you feel free to be myself and it's safe to share my thoughts. Home means where I am visible and it's where you feel protected, understood, and accepted just as you are! Home is also where there are happy memories and moments that my family and I make. I enjoy cooking food even when we make mistakes or make a mess. In the end, the food will be unique and yummy. I love spending quality time with my family. It makes me happy and smile. We laugh, take pictures and funny pictures and have fun together. I love carrying my little cousins and my brother. I like being too cheeky to my little brother and my big brother. Sometimes, home is a quiet place where I can be alone and relax. My home can be loud, noisy, and cheerful. Other times, it’s full of music and joy when I play with my best friends. We sing funny songs and dance weird and jump on my bed! I like playing the piano or the flute. I also love swimming together. Sometimes we watch movies and sometimes we have misunderstandings. Also sometimes we get mad but that's life and we always make up. Home means celebrating Christmas🤶,Valentine's, Thanksgiving and the New Year. These are very special times I can celebrate with my family. Home means helping one another. I enjoy changing my little brother and my little cousins diapers, washing the dishes, and sweeping. Home means travelling. I like visiting Saskatchewan. It’s a really cool place. Home means watching the stars and the moon in the sky. When it gets too hot, at home we decide when to take a trip to the beach. I love going to the beach when the weather is warm. This is relaxing especially when eating some popsicles and freezies. Home means to me shopping with my Mom for toys or presents or clothes or food. At home I love making crochet, jewelry, and knitting for my friends and my family. Home is a very special place for everyone! By Tobi
