Meaning of Home

When I think of home I feel calm and happy that I have a place to go. I sometimes wonder… What would I do if I didn’t have my home? Would I just live in a house that doesn’t feel like home? Home is my place to stay, where everything I know is. But, a house feels like a shelter, a building, or a place someone else lives. But, without my house I would not be able to have my pet hamster, Beanie. And she is my everything, if I didn’t have her I would be very sad. But, my family would make me feel better! Even though she sleeps when I am awake, when I get home I just jump on my couch and get cozy. But, when I get home it's normally around time for dinner. I love the smell of dinner when I get home. It smells very good and delicious. When I eat it I feel glad that I can eat it. But, I am happy I have a home and in the end… be grateful for what you have.
