Home was welcoming, welcoming all Home was small, but cozy nonetheless Home was family, just another member Home was a fortress, holding back the scares Home was laughter, bouncing through the halls Home was reliable, reliable to all Home is different, not what I expected Home is like a dream, blank and unreal Home is getting better, maybe even good Home is amazing, a place where friends can meet Home smells delicious, like sourdough and cookies Home is awesome, better than the last Home will be periwinkle, what colour is that Home will be happy, a place of joy and fun Home will be safe, safe to all inside Home will be sleep, a warm safe sleep Home will be warm, warmer than before, Home will be better, after all, I can wait
