Home

A home is different from a house… A house is just a regular building with four walls and a roof. Home to me is a place where I can have all types of emotions like happiness, sadness, or even anger but still love that place and the people in it. I feel relaxed when I get home from a long day of school and I sit on the couch watching tv. I feel happy when I'm cooking with my Mom in the kitchen. Having a home matters to me because it’s the only place where I can be surrounded by my loved ones even if they’re in a different room, I know they’re there. Having a home affects my life because it’s the only place where I can sleep, have shelter, and recharge. A home is filled with love. Now you know that a house is just a building and a house is so much more than that!
