MY HOME IS

MY HOME IS when I give my mom a big warm hug that makes all of my bad moments of the day go away. MY HOME IS when I snuggle with my loving cats. Mom always tucks me in before bed, with calm music, and my favorite soft stuffed animal Froggy. MY HOME IS having parties with my friends. Every year, me and my mom have a pool party that brings back memories of splashing and eating sweet watermelons, and listening to Hawaiian music with our friends. MY HOME IS when me and my mom have a movie night with our PJ’s on, and with all of the lights off, while we have a special snack, all tucked in the blankets on the couch. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for making families be able to have movie nights, being tucked in bed, and having pool parties. These moments will always stay with us. They are a part of our lives. They take a big place in our hearts.
