Dear Diary

Dear diary, It's me Carter, mom and dad keep fighting and it's really loud. They fight and fight when they think I can't hear but little do they know I see their silent tears. When I’m around they put on a smile but dad says he's gonna spend the night with his friends for a while. Grandma says everything will be ok, but even she's unsure what to say. I've never seen dad be sad but now things are different. Now mom says we have to leave but I don't want to. I'm scared and I don't know how to get through. I have so many memories I don't want to lose, smiles, inside jokes, ice cream night. I really don't want to leave. Mom and dad said that they would never be together, so as long as I know it will be forever. Sincerely, Carter.
