What Home Means to Me

Bed, kitchen, backyard, living room, bathroom, dining room. These are the things that come to mind when people think about a home. When I step through the door I feel like I'm transported from the outside world to a place where I belong. Well to me home is a place where you sleep, relax, and chill It's like a safe haven, a place where you never have to worry about anything. It's a place where you can do weird stuff and you won't be judged. A home isn't just about one thing, it's a place where you feel wanted. Having a house is a privilege. Some people in the world don’t have a home and I find that sad, because people's bad decisions can lead them to not having a home. I think there should be a donation that makes homeless shelters better. In my house I feel like there is a magical barrier that will never break and protects me from hazards and mistakes that I might make. Home lets you sit under the fireplace on cold days watching movies and not care about a thing. Home is a place where you gather around the table during special events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners. You may think home is just one thing but it's multiple things family, friends, memories, and good times. What things do you have in your house? In my house I have a lot of fun things like a piano. My family helps other people that can’t afford a home get one. My dad owns 3 properties and he did all that just to help people in need and I find that very very nice.
