Our Place We Call Home
When I hear the word home I think about how it is a privilege to have a home and a warm comfy bed to sleep on. Food and water to eat and get hydrated. A shelter for all of the flurry days and a place where you can call home.
Home is a place where you can feel secure about yourself where you are comfortable and feel free. When I'm in my place I like to call home. I feel a warmth in my heart because I am very thankful that I have a place to call home but knowing some people in the world do not have that special place that they can call home I feel sorrowful.
If home were a smell it would smell like warm hot cinnamon.and if it were a taste it would taste like my moms banana bread smeared with melted butter.
I think the most important thing about home is that you have one and a space that is yours and will be yours for many years to come. It's just a wonderful sight of seeing people being gleeful of all the privileges they have and that they have a place they can call home.
My goal is to support habitat for humanity so maybe in the future everyone will have a cherished place they call home.
