Home Isn't Just A Building

Home is not just a building. Home is a place that you grow up in and make memories. Home is where I learned to walk and talk. Home makes me feel comfortable, safe and makes you want to curl up on the couch with a warm blanket. For me home means spending time with my family whether it is baking cookies with my mom or watching a movie with my dad. Every time I walk in my house, I feel the magic of love and peace. When I think of home I think of soothing music, a warm bed with a soft blanket and cuddling with my mom and dad. Home is a privilege that not everyone has. But thanks to Habitat for Humanity, we can make everyone have a safe space. I am so grateful for my home. Home is a place where I can go to be safe and secure. Your home is not just the inside, it is also about the community. Home is when I can kick off my shoes and sit on the couch. Home is a place that I can call mine. So thank you Habitat for Humanity for making everyone have a place they can call theirs.
