What is Home?
home noun
/həʊm/
/həʊm/
[countable, uncountable] the house or flat that you live in, especially with your family
This is “home” according to the Oxford dictionary, but I don't think this is what “home” is. Home isn’t a house, apartment or a building. It isn’t clothes, food, or a smell. To me, “home” is everywhere. Home is where the people you feel the most comfortable with. It could be at school, a sport practice, an art studio. “Home” doesn't necessarily need a place. It can be a feeling. To me home is my family. For me it means I can be on the other side of the world and it still feels like home. “Home” can be different for different people, but for me this is “home”.
