Home is a feeling

Home, I know where my home is, It is not just a place that you live in, Home is a meaning, a feeling. It is what you like, you have and you love, Home is a feeling. Home, home is also where your family is, Like the annoying antics of your siblings Like those irritating dolls scattered around the house, Still amazing memories from the past, Wrapping around your head like a soft Bright and sunny blanket playing happily. In those many beautiful memories are the pets, Pets from past and pets from present, From there soft fur to goofing around happily, Pets that parents got to make us happy, Or playing catch in the yard and coming to our games, Like a soft, fluffy, pillow to rest on, Knowing that they will always love us. Home, home is a place to shelter, to eat. Home is a protector with roofs over our heads and Walls against our sides, With floors and tables resting on them with food atop. Eating helps us with health and mental strenth, Eating helps us. Eating helps us stay warm, Like blankets and sweater wrapping around us, Making us feel safe. Home, home is a feeling, A place where memories are made and lost. From the fun times like, Playing with your siblings, Sledding and building snowmen, Then there’s your first words, First steps and first friends, With family guiding your way like a path through the woods , When you see your family for the first time, You know they will always help. Home, home is a feeling, Your family, memories and fun. A home is where you truly belong.
