A Home For A Bird

Hi. Jay here. I’m a bird. A blue jay to be exact. I’m telling you the story of how I found a home. So, here’s how it started. I was in a bear’s cave. Yes, I know what you’re thinking. A BIRD in a BEAR’S cave? Ill tell you why. I smashed my wing into a tree, so when a storm hit, I was stuck on the ground and the only safe (well not really safe) place was the bears cave. Luckily, the bear was asleep so I snuck in and hid behind a boulder. Like that, if the bear woke up he wouldn’t see me. The bears cave smelled like wet fur and dead animals. Three minutes after I got in the cave, I fell asleep. When I woke up, the bear was gone so I went outside. Big mistake. The bear was standing right there. I hid behind a boulder, and then the bear lumbered off. Later I was walking around when I saw it. A home. A home for a bird. The end
