A home is not just a place

For a home to be a home it can't just be walls and a roof. It’s filled with people who love you. It should make you feel safe and loved. It’s filled with laughter and joy. It's something you can’t just find anywhere, like a store you can’t just buy love and joy. At school you can't just find love and laughter, that's something you can only find somewhere special like home. Even if you move somewhere new it would still feel like home because the people who love you will always be there. My home has a smell that makes me happy and calm. My room is cozy and warm somewhere I like to be. My home has pictures of me and my family. Me and my family love to go sledding in winter, swimming in summer and for the other seasons we visit family. I love my family they are what home is, without them home wouldn’t be home.
