Home To Me

The Meaning of Home By: Brooklynne Lilley (Gr. 6) Home means safe. When I think of home, I feel safe. Home means family. To me, when I think of home, I think of my mom, my dad, my brother, my sister, and my two dogs. Home means comfortable. When I think of home, I think of my comfy couch and my big, warm bed. Home means fun. When I think of home, I think about all of the fun things I do with my brother and sister. Home means activities. When I think of home, I think about my pool, my hot tub, and my trampoline. Home means food. When I think of home, I think of all of the meals I've shared with my family. Home means feelings. When I think of home, I think of all of the happy times and the sad times that we all felt together. Home means our town. When I think of home, I think of all of the times I've rode my bike through our neighbourhood. Home means friends. When I think of home, I think of all the times I have hung out with my friends around town. Home means the park. When I think of home I think of the park that my friends, family, and I go to together. Home means the arena. When I think of home, I think of all of the times I've gone skating with my friends. Home means learning. When I think of home, I think of all of the lessons I've learned, the good ones and the bad ones. Home is who I am. The End
