For me the meaning of home means memories, family, celebrations, and friends. First of all, I will be talking about memories and family. My family sometimes has family gatherings with all our family members. I play games with my cousins, we watch movies and we have fun. Me and my cousins sometimes go outside together and play in the playground together. Me and my friends also go to each other’s house almost once every month. We play fun games like tag, hide and seek. I feel safe at home, I feel loved at home, I feel comfortable at home, and I feel happy at home. Another thing I will talk about is celebrations we do at home. At home we have birthday parties, cultural celebrations and Christmas. Every Christmas my whole family and I make fruit cakes and give them to all our friends and family. One of the cultural celebrations is called Thai Pongal and it is celebrated on January 15. On Thai Pongal we make a dish called Pongal and we eat it together as a family at home. At birthday parties my parents order a cake, and we have a party with our friends. Finally, now I will talk about friends. Me and my friends see each other almost every month, we do not go to the same school, but our parents are friends so we each other often. When we see each other, we play games like tag and hide and seek, we also play board games. At birthday parties we bring each other birthday presents, then we play and have fun, sometimes we draw together That is what home means to me. What does home mean to you?
