The Meaning of Home

What does the meaning of home mean to me? A Home means a lot of things to me like for starters a home does not have to have four walls, it doesn't even have to have one wall it could be outside or inside. The meaning of home also means so many emotions like happiness, laughter, and so much love that you can feel it in the air. Home smells like the fresh smell of banana bread when it comes out of the oven warm and ready to eat. Home tastes like a delicious home cooked meal with my family telling jokes and stories. Home looks like my family laughing and watching a movie in our living room. When I am at home, I hear my parents wake me up and say good morning and tuck me in and say good night. At my house when I am sad, I feel my mom's loving arms fold around me and tell me it is going to be ok. I am very grateful for having a home with four walls where I am loved, cared for, and fed good food. Now let's talk about memories- one of my favourite family memories are when my whole family comes from all over to have a Christmas dinner together and talk about our lives and our plans. To have a home and a family member or a friend that loves and respects you is the most wonderful feeling in life.
