The Meaning of Home

A house is a building, and it does not become a home until you start to make memories. The room that feels safest is my mom’s room because it has the most comfortable bed and it has a blanket over the window. My mom makes me feel loved and comforted, and my parents take care of me and my siblings. Mom gives me clean clothes. My dog Otto is the BEST dog ever because he is so cute and he makes me feel better after getting upset with my bother. The words ‘family home’ mean to me is that everybody is home and safe. My room looks awesome when I clean it up and my kitchen smells great. In the Kitchen, the food taste so when good when my mom and dad cook. My backyard sounds good when the birds chirp and in my mom's room it feels really good when I lie down on the bed. These memories make my house a home.
