The Meaning of Home

A home for me is like walking through a door and all you have ever dreamed of is right there in front of you. Then, you go to your bedroom and all the memories you have made with your friends and family comfort you. You can see all the beautiful colours. In my room, it is blue, purple, and green. They all represent something I love. Blue represents the ocean water crashing repeatedly on the soft sand. Green represents the bright green grass blowing in the summer wind. Finally, purple represents my pet dog Luna. Luna is a black lab. One night I put down all the colors and shades, and she chose the purple one and then I assumed that that was her favorite colour. I also love the fireplace on the main floor. It is so warm when you cuddle up with your family. My family and I cuddle up by the fireplace and eat popcorn from our new popcorn machine. I love the coffee table where we have played every game night since I was a little girl. I remember every birthday party I have had since I was five with all my friends. I was in my cabin on my 9th birthday, and I walked to my friend's cabin, and we went on her trampoline. She had water balloons, so we decided that we should use them. We walked on the poky gravel to grab them and brought them to the trampoline. Another friend that lives at the lake came over and played. We had so much fun on the trampoline. After that we all went tubing. I had so much fun on the tube with them. I will never forget that day even though I am 9 right now and I turned 9 that day. I am so lucky to have so many memories, and I am so glad to have such sweet friends that always stand up for me.
