This is the Meaning of Home

Home feels comfy because when I think of home I feel happy, sleepy, energetic and loud because when I get home I feel happy that I see my family. I am loud because I eat a lot. I am sleepy from running at school. People that make my home special are my brother, my dad, my mom and my grandparents. When it’s the weekend I play a volleyball game with my brother only if he isn't with his friends, and when my brother goes with his friends to go to the rec center I go with my parents to go to the mall. When I'm with my grandparents they take care of me and my brother when my parents go to work. An important memory at home is when it’s Christmas. My family from far away comes to my house to celebrate. We sing, laugh, open presents and play games. This is one of my most favourite memories for me. Having a home is like a place to sleep, to have fun and a place to make memories. It's really important to have one so you can share memories with family and friends. Home is a nice place because of my neighbors, my friends and my loving community. That home is important because it’s important to feel loved, to feel welcomed and to have important memories. When you have a home you are happy it’s important to feel loved. It’s important to feel cared, welcomed and supported and never forget that.
