Home Isn’t Just Four Walls

Home isn’t just four walls that surround you. It’s all the move, memories and warmth. Home is the smell of my mom’s sausage soup, it’s delicious! I also love baking muffins with her. I love staying up a little later than my bedtime just to try one. Home is the sound of her saying “wait, they are really hot, but I eat it anyway. Home is all the memories with friends and family; it is seeing my dog come out of his crate for the first time. Home is seeing him take his first steps outside, even thinking about it nowit warms my heart! Home is eating chicken pot pie with my mom and uncle when my dad’s not home because we all love it but my dad does not. Everyone deserves to have a home, not just a house. Everyone deserves to know after school where they are going to and what their night is going to look like. Everyone deserves to be safe, loved, and all the above.
