Home Feelings
When I walk into my home I feel so many emotions. There are so many, but the ones that stand out to me are sadness, happiness, and anger. In my house I mostly feel happy but in some people's homes there are so many emotions that they feel. You might think that anger is just one emotion, but there is so much more. If you’re angry, you could feel mad, terrified, scared, and anxious. The same thing with sadness. When you’re sad, you could feel tired, bored, betrayed, and hurt. And last but definitely not least is happiness. If you’re happy, you could feel calm, safe, joyful, excited, and love. What I feel when I walk into my home. When I walk into my home, I feel excited because my family is waiting for me inside. I feel joy because I get to spend time with my family. I feel calm because I never feel anxious in my home because my family comforts me. I feel safe because I know my family will keep me close in their hearts. I also feel loved because my family loves me very much. Sometimes I feel tired because I could have had a long day at school or anywhere, but I know my bed is in my house and that I can just relax. Sometimes, I also feel sad or hurt but I know my family will help me feel better. Sometimes I feel sick, but I know my family will care for me. Sometimes I feel bored but then my family and I watch the Olympics or a movie together. That is what I feel when I walk into my home. I hope that everyone can feel that when they walk into their home that Habitat for Humanity builds.
