Home

What is a home? You will think a home is a building with walls, stairs, levels, windows, and a roof, but I have a different answer. A home is a special place that you can not buy, you have to make with a pure heart, and is full of love, laughter, encouragement, fun, and safety. In the kitchen, a fresh, amazing, smell fills the air, and gets closer and closer until it gets served at the dinner table and every bite is discernible as love and care and stories are told with laughter. In my room, I sleep, I play, and I have a lot of privacy, sometime too much privacy that I feel lonely, but that loneliness sweeps away and the love and laughter sweeps in and fills the room and that the loneliness can’t enter my room, but if it does, my mom and dad will be ready like a shield protecting a sword! In the living room, there might be a tv, couch, table and maybe a plant, but I think that the living room is the heart of a home. I think it is the heart of a home because it is the place that the family gets together! They can watch movies, play games, draw, maybe chill together in the living room! Sometimes,my mom and dad get into an argument, and when they do, I get really worried, but they always forgive each other, you know why? Because home can’t be broken. So, what is home? Home is full of love, laughter, encouragement, fun, safety and can never be broken!
