Meaning of Home

Part 1: Home Is Like A… Home is like a warm hug after a long day of work or school, where you spend most of your time. Home is like a Library of Memory, with each book a day, and each page is a scent or word, sometimes good, sometimes bad,d but there is no bad day. You might think there are bad days, but there is at least one good thing that happened in your day, and each day, a new book. Part 2: What Makes A Home? Home is not just a building, it’s a feeling, an emotion. Sure, it could be a place, but that place, wherever it is, what’s in it that’s what matters, like love, joy Part 3: What Home Is To Me The fence around my yard is like a wall made from love all around. The halls are lined with pitchers of my Family and my pets, frozen like parts of a memory. When I look at my bed, I see a fortress where I seep and dream of fantasies in my head. The living room is where we play board games for fun. Down stars, I play games with my brothers and sisters. The couch is where we watch TV or movies. My family has a tradition where once we have read a book, if there is a movie, we watch it. That is all I have to say. I want to give a great thank you to Habitat for Humanity, because they help people who are struggling get a home, and I think it’s great. For a hose can’t be a Home, but a Home can be a hose. My name is Lucas Marten, and I thank you for inspiring me to make this writing piece.
