The Feeling of HOME
Home to me doesn’t feel like a physical household—It’s a warm and welcoming feeling, deep down in my heart. Home to me smells like nice, warm breakfast biscuits baking in the oven, or even a platter of taco shells and ingredients.
Home to me sounds like a chaotic playground, with balls bouncing around and yelling coming from down the stairs. Home to me looks like memories, whether good, bad, or recent or old, they are all key to being what is really the feeling of home.
Home to me tastes like a smoothie, with many ingredients that are essential to making it really home to me. Home. We all have one, whether a house, or your favourite hangout spot way deep down in the woods, it feels just like where you belong. A house is a gift, and I am grateful to have one myself. But really, no basic house on Earth can be compared to a home.
