What Home Means to Me

To me, home is a place where I can feel safe. Home is not a place where I ever feel scared or unloved. Home is not a place where I should have to hide in my room or a bathroom just to feel safe. Home is a place where I feel loved and cared for. Home does not have to be my house. It can be a place where you can see the people you love, make happy memories, have fun, and feel wanted. Home is a place where you have everything you need, like heat, food, a roof, and a bed to sleep on. It is also a place you can relax after a long day of work, school, or sports practice, and relax. But one of the biggest things I think of when I think about home is sports. Sports are the biggest way I connect with my family. At home, I love to watch baseball with my family and celebrate wins and be disappointed about losses. Home is also my family. I have 2 brothers, my mom, my dad, my dog, and my turtle. My family is so important to me, and I love them so much. Home is by far my favourite place to be. I have my family, sports, a place to relax, and everything I need. I am so grateful for my family and my home.
