What Home Means to Me

Home sweet home. To me the meaning of home is a place not just any place, it is a place where you are loved, happy, comfortable, safe and a place where I can express all my feelings to someone I trust. It is a place where I am accepted to be myself. At your home you are not judged. Your home is not just a shelter, it is a place where you can be everything you want to be. It is a place where my heart is and always will be! Between the words house and home I see a really big difference and in my heart I feel it too. The word house can be anyone's but the word home is your. A house has four walls made of bricks and a roof. It is a place to keep you sheltered from the warm in the summer or the cold from the winter. When you are at someone's house you are shy, uncomfortable and it stops you from being yourself but your home is different. Your home is where all your loved ones are like my family, my friend and everything in between. At the end of the day, every day after school I run to my home wanting to snuggle with everyone. For me the word home does not necessarily mean your actual house, it can mean where you are comfortable, feel safe and happy. I love my home and I hope you love yours!!!
