My Amazing Home

My amazing home is not just a house, it is an awesome home. My living room is a place where we gather and share about our days, about the happy times and the sad times. It is cozy, and comfortable, and warm. Sometimes we play board games. Other times we watch movies and shows. Sometimes we are all there together, and sometimes it’s just me and my brother. In the kitchen we dance while making dinner and listen to the music. Smells from Portugal come from my mom’s traditional cooking. It’s really good – a little bit spicy. My mom usually cooks dinner and my dad likes to cook breakfast. My dad also sometimes cooks dinner on the weekend. My bedroom is my favourite place in our house. I like it because I can spend time by myself and just chill and relax and I play video games with friends. In my room I smell the cologne I put on every morning and see the medals from all the sports that I play. Most are from hockey. They make me feel proud. My family is proud of me too. My amazing home is not just a house. My culture comes to life with food and smells and my family is there together enjoying each other.
