A Home Is More Than a House
A Home Is More Than a House
A house is just a place that has walls, rooms and a roof; while a home is a place that has people and families. Home is a place where I feel loved and cared about. Here are some things I experience in my home.
I can touch my clean clothes as I feel the textures of the fabrics. I am touching my pet dog, while I pet his dirty fur.
I can smell the three topping pizza cooking in the kitchen. I can smell the nice cold air in the house during summer.
I can see the fridge full of food, opening and closing. I can see the cat on my porch laying down enjoying the sun.
I can taste the amazing moist brownies that my mom made. I can taste the multiple spices in the ramen that I made for lunch.
I can hear my dog barking at a bird outside. I can hear my family laugh at the dinner table.
My favorite experience in my daily life is hearing my dog bark at a bird outside, because I find his reaction funny.
Therefore, these are things in my house that I can touch, smell, see, taste and hear which makes it a home.
