Home

Home is a place where you cherish and love. Home is when you have a roof over your head, a loving roof, where no one judges, just gives hugs and kisses. I’m so grateful I have a loving family and a clean home that I’m able to live in. Some people don’t have that, which is why people all over Canada are making stories about how grateful they are for all the things parents do for us. Every story that gets submitted gives $10 to the local Habitat. Every child in grades 4, 5, and 6 is raising money for kids like us, so they can have a real home to live in, a comfortable bed to sleep in, food in the refrigerator ready to eat, clean water to drink, proper education, and safety to keep them well. Many people, including me, have these things, but we want to help more kids, older and younger, to feel comfortable in this world. I’m so grateful for all of these things I need and want. This is why I chose Habitat for Humanity, and I hope every dollar spent helps all the kids and families out there.
