The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me is Christina Lake and the peace and coziness it brings to me. First, I admire the cozy smell of the beach house and the smell of hot dogs on the BBQ cooking. Next, I love the sounds of the seagulls squawking and the lake shore slamming against the sand. Also, the feeling of the small grains of sand in between my feet and the water slamming against me as I jump in. Last, but not least, I see the kayakers and the water skiers as well as the shimmering water. Don’t forget about taste. I love grandma’s delicious apple pie and my dad’s BBQ hotdogs and burgers with all the toppings. I think love and family time matters most. When we are away, we don’t need Ipads, the time we have with each other matters most and the places you spend with loves ones is the true meaning if home.
