What Home Means to Me
I have asked myself this question many times “what is home”? I first thought home was supposed to be a place where I have a roof over my head and food to eat. This question has troubled me many times. But now I realize home is where the heart is and where you are with people that makes you feel protected. A house is made of bricks and concrete, a home is made of memories and emotions. You can buy a house, but you create a home. Home is something deeper than a location, it is a place where you can be yourself and be with people who understand you. A house can be empty but a home feels alive. For some people, home is a physical place. For others, it’s a person. For some, it’s a feeling they carry wherever they go.
Now I’m curious — when you think of “home,” do you picture a place, a person, or a feeling?
