My Cozy Home

In my cozy bedroom my blankets wrap around me and I feel safe. My cat will sleep with me every night. He loves to cuddle up beside me. I feel safe beside my cat. He makes me feel like my dad is right beside me, protecting me. When I go into the kitchen every morning to eat my breakfast, I sit down at my dinner table with my dad and we talk about life and how fast I’m growing up. My house in BC is calming. I love having a family that loves me and that is grateful to have me. I feel safe and calm in my house, I spend most of my time in the living room, watching tv or playing games with my mom, and my brother, if he is in the mood! I look up at my bedroom walls to see posters of my favourite singer, trophies and ribbons from competitions. I love going into my room and seeing my old barbies, and my little dolls. It makes me happy to see that I still have them all. All of my old little things have a lot of memories attached to them, so that is why my dad never sell them. I love to spend time with my family and play games and just have fun in general. Usually on school nights after school my brother goes downstairs and plays Fortnight with his friends. I go into my room and go on call with my friends for hours, well at least until I go to sleep. My dad usually gets mad at me though for being on my phone before bed. Sometimes if I’m sick or just if I’m not feeling good, I will go into my dad’s room and snuggle and watch tv with him. And then we ether have a yummy snack to share with each other or have our own signature snack. It goes the same way for my brother, just different snacks. He does not like fruits and vegetables, that’s for sure. My cozy home is my safe place. I love having a family that loves me and that is grateful to have me.
