What Home Means to Me

Home means a place where I belong with my family and my best friends. I always have someone to comfort me and help me at home. I also have my family to get me through ups and downs. My home sounds like my sisters laughing and having so much fun, sometimes it sounds like my dad snoring (really LOUD) cause he always takes really long naps in the cozy living room. Sometimes my mom bakes and her treats taste really, really, REALLY delicious, it always reminds me of my home. My house always smells like Filipino food from the kitchen and my sister’s smelly basketball jersey when she comes home from a basketball practice. Home always feels like a soft, warm, cozy blanket where you can rest and stay all day that you never want to leave. So, home isn’t just a building with floors and furniture, it’s a place where everyone is really loved and never, ever, EVER forgotten. By: Xari
