Meaning of Home
Home is where I sleep and where I live. That’s what I thought home meant to me , but home doesn’t have to be where you live or where you sleep. Home is where you feel safe , comfortable , and where you can spend time with your family and friends. Home is also where you can come home from a long day and you can relax.
I moved to 3 different countries. I was born in India then I moved to Germany and now I am in Canada. The 3 different countries were very different. India was very hot , Germany was hot and cold , and Canada was very cold. I lived in India for 2 years , Germany for 1 year , and Canada for 7 years. I recently moved to a different city , and it is 1 hour away from where I lived. I had to move to a different school and I couldn’t meet the friends I met everyday for 7 years. It was sad but I could still make new friends , and I could meet my old friends at their house.
I moved to a different house in Canada , but where I felt like home was my old house in Canada. My home is not where I live right now or where I was born, it is where I feel safe, comfortable , and where I can meet my friends and family. I like what habitats for humanity is doing , and I will support their mission.
