Home is a place where...

Home, think about it, maybe to you it’s somewhere free from school or a play place or even a place to hang out with friends.Notice how I said “place” not house or apartment, not even a room.Some people don't have a home they live on streets.Home to me feels like being protected from snow and rain.Home is a place that I see my mom and Dad with open arm stretching out towards me.Many people here in calgary are homeless they have nowhere to protect them from rain or snow,cold and shivering on the verge of death with no livable conditions.They can see their families but over their shoulder is little hope.Now home is a place where I taste and smell my moms delicious cooking so good,no so amazing! mmh. Home is a place where I hear the joy and laughter of my joyful and comforted family.Home is a place for when I pray I am thanking the almighty God.Homeless people taste whatever they find whatever they can live on and they pray and pray for a blessing they ask. But that blessing will come with Habitat for Humanity!They give people homes for whatever they can afford. So all we see,feel,taste,hear, and smell can be experienced by these people.Habitat for humanity gives them hope they offer them a living condition! So they can go to school, learn play run free and jump with glee,so they are happy to have a safe and comforted family. So when you go to bed pray for them, and acknowledge the hard working people that do this. Now that's enough talk about my home what does it mean to you?What does it feel like?How about what it sounds like,think what it smells like!Think of your favorite object(s) or people(s) in your home and thank them for getting you the object or just being there for you.Thank God you have them they love you and so does god so with writing this contest I am donating 10$ to Habitat for Humanity.So thank you Habitat for Humanity for giving every one a home.
