Home

Home is a place where I feel safe, have fun, and make memories. Home is a place for comfort and joy. Home is not a place to fear, and it is not just a place where you sleep and eat. For me, home is a place to be creative. Home is what you make it, the people that you spend the time with, where you celebrate holidays and birthdays. I think everyone needs a home because home brings people joy. There are people who do not have a place to call home. I hope after this, with more donations, funding, and help from Habitat for Humanity, more people will have a place to call home. In my house I have photos all over the walls, and those are not just photos, their memories, memories of the past. Every time I walk into my house, I see those photos and I remember the good times in those photos. My dog, Kepler, is a very special pet. She is super rowdy. Every time I come home from school she will just attack me. I mean, she is only 9 months old! I like that she jumps and plays. Kepler brings so much joy to me and my family. In my opinion, everyone should have a place to call home. Even if I do not win anything, I hope this competition helps more people have an affordable home. Thanks, Habit for Humanity!
