Home Is Everything To Me
First, home isn't one thing to me, it's many things in one place. It's where I am safe, warm and happy and it is where pictures are hung and music is played and joy is spread. My home feels like a big warm blanket that is soft and cozy, not like any ordinary blanket. A special one. At home I use my five senses. I smell my parents' food and it usually is butter chicken or pasta. My family and I try new foods unlike my siblings. I hear my parents calling me, “ it's dinner time”. I taste the butter chicken and it tastes like Doritos and the rice tastes like warm toast. I touch the cold medal folk and it reminds me how many times I have eaten with my whole family. My home is not just any place, it's where memories are made. Whether it is a move to a different province or learning how to play the piano. Home is not just memories, it is where I wonder and ask questions and have discussions with myself and family. My home is here with me and that means the most.
