A place where memories begin
What does home mean to you? To me, it isn’t just a house—it’s what’s inside that matters. Home is where I belong, where I feel comfortable and safe, surrounded by my family and my friends. When I was little, “home” was just another way to spell the place I lived. Now, it means so much more than just that.
My home is the foundation where I place building blocks as I grow, each one holding a memory or experience I will cherish for years to come. Each and every one is filled with love and laughter and I know it will continue to grow as I meet new people and make new friends.
My home smells like my mom’s banana muffins and looks like my dad’s homemade soup. I feel the warmth of my family hugging me, and I see my siblings playing and fighting. I hear the ice cream truck on those warm summer days and watch the snowmen slowly melt away as winter begins to fade.
Home is a feeling everyone has, even though it means something different to each person. Whether it’s their family, memories, or a place where they feel comfort, home is what makes us feel safe and loved. No matter where life takes us, home will always be home.
