What home means to me

What does home mean to me? Well, to me, home is a place where you feel safe and cozy. A home can be a soccer field, a hockey rink, or even just any regular building. A home can feel right and loving. Home is sometimes clean, but your room can be messy, an ice rink can be chipped , and a soccer field can have food on it. A home can smell like my favourite dish, spaghetti, that my mom is making in the kitchen. A home can taste like savory, sweet flavours and memories of your childhood. A home can sound like a marker squeaking on the whiteboard. A home can look like a fun and warm place where I make memories with family. A home can feel soft and cozy. You can have kids in your home and you might have very little time to do what you want to do with your family. But that little time is just enough time for you and your family to be together and feel like a family.
