What home means to me

A house is a house, and a home is where family is. A home is where you take your first steps and where you cherish your memories. My first home is where me and my sisters took our first steps. My old house burnt down but it is still in my heart. Now I have a new home where I am going to make more memories. When I walked in my new home it felt weird, but I was surrounded by loved ones and that is all that matters. My old home might be gone but a new home new beginnings, and new endings. Home is where you express your feelings. If I didn’t have a home I would be lost but when you are loved in a home it really makes it a home. I am grateful for my home and for my family and that’s what home means to me. By Aubree
