A House Is Not A Home

A house is a building made from wood and string, but a home is where you can laugh and sing. A house is where you're alone with room, but a home is a place crowded with people who care about you. A house is where you have lots of room, but a home is a place with emotions too. A house is a place with furniture, but a home is a place with sadness, joy, love, and happiness. A house is where there are floors and walls, but a home is where we have family and dogs. A house is a place with no cuddles of warmth, but a home is a place with some pets, to cuddle. A house is a place where you have been sad all day, but a home is where you can be happy, every single day. A house is a place with modern lights, but a home is with your family watching, the amazing sites. A house is where there are tangibles almost everywhere, but at home there are non-tangibles everywhere, joy, sadness and love too. They are everywhere. They surround you! A house is a mansion with furniture as well, but a home is a place with a heart to tell. A house is a place where you can just stay with no one, but a home is a place to be yourselves, and have everyone! A house is a place with no family nor friends, but a home is a place with people everywhere!! Thank you to everyone for putting their heart into Habitat for Humanity! Now people have a place to live. A home is a place where we have family and friends.
