Home is Safe

Home makes me feel safe because I know I can feel free. Home is where I can relax. Home is different than a house like going to a friend’s “house”. And for home it’s like I can’t wait to go “home”. A house is a building. A home is where we belong. Home makes me feel easy. Home makes me feel my mom hugging me. Home is me coming home to smelling my mom’s homemade cookies at 7:00. Home is me coming home and hearing my mom welcome me home. When I come home I can smell my dad’s cooking ready for me.
