The Meaning of Home

Coming home after a long vacation feels like a cozy blanket wrapping you up. A place where laughter fills the air. Games urge you to play endlessly all day. The smell of scrumptious food flies through the dining room. Home isn’t just a place it is where your family thrives. A moment that helps me understand my idea of home is when I was in pain because of my appendix and my dad took me to the hospital to get treated. I was out for 1 week, missing my brother's grow up. My dad stayed by my side and that’s when I discovered the true meaning of home. Home is the people. They stay by your side until their very last breath. That shows that they really care for you. I am so joyful to have a family that really cares. Every person in the whole world should have a home. In the end what home means to me is that people don’t blame you for who you are . They love you no matter what. If I didn’t have any home or family I would be the glummest person alive. I want everyone to have a home in their lives.
