Home

When I think of home I think of my mom, dad, brother and two dogs. Home is more than a place. It is a feeling of not being judged. It is also a feeling of happiness and comfort. Home does not have to be perfect or quiet. It can just be loud, exciting and overwhelming in the best way possible. Home is where I am greeted by my dogs. Luna loves to get cuddles and scratches when I come home. Zoey loves when I give her a treat. Home feels like cuddling with a warm blanket on the couch while I watch television. It tastes like my favorite strawberry ice cream. Home is laughing so hard my stomach hurts or my mom brushing through my long blonde hair. It is talking about memories of our favorite vacations and watching videos of me as a baby. Home is when me, my dad and my brother play soccer outside in the summer. Home is where I get to be creative and do crafts. It is a place where my friends can hang out and have fun. Home is more than a place. It is made from the memories you make in it.
