What is Home?

Have you ever thought about what home means? Home is where fresh muffins come out of the oven and the smell fills the room with a delicious smell and your mouth starts to water. Home is where we sit at the table and laugh and tell stories about what happened at school or the fact that you made the hockey team that you really wanted to make were we make memories that we will cherish forever. It’s where you feel safe and included where you can be yourself no matter who you are. Home is like 1000,000 cozy blankets wrapped around you like the biggest hug you could ever imagine. Home is where you look at the pictures on the wall, it’s where we think about all the good memories we’ve made together. It’s were we sit on the couch and watch a movie with popcorn. Home is where we hug each other during bad times. Home is an adventure that is waiting to be explored. Home is a tale waiting to be told. Home is a soldier protecting me. It’s where we let out all that joy and happiness so we can share it with the ones we love most. It's where we can laugh until we can’t breathe. What if you had no home? No home where you can feel safe and included and no home with joy or happiness so we can take advantage of that. Home is your cats meowing at you because they want treats. Home is where you get all cozy in your bed and your parents read you a story and that story is way more than a few pages it’s some huge adventure that you someday go on. Home is way mor than you think!
