Dear Habitat for Humanity...

Dear habitat for humanity… Home is different for everybody. But here are some things I think a lot of people take for granted. Like a bathroom. Most people have bathrooms, I sure do. But some people do not. Imagine waking up in the middle of the night and having to leave your home into the chilly night air just because you have to go to the BATHROOM! People probably also take hot water for granted. I love hot showers. Imagine cold showers or NO SHOWERS AT ALL. No clean water, what about that? Having to go to a well or something to get water instead of just walking to your tap! Or no warm blankets on a FREEZING cold night. Anyway, I want everybody to be able to have bathrooms and clean and hot water. I want everybody to have a home. It makes me feel sad driving downtown seeing all the people who do not have homes. Only tents that are not warm enough for frigid Manitoba winters and that is why I wrote to you. From, Eleanor Tycholiz
